Thanks for the comments peeps.
As for CCTV Boss there was one put in place a couple of years back for a test run.
All of the drug dealing stopped, the unsociable drinking stopped and all the yoofs were good little boys.
Then after 2 months they took it away and on the same night 2 cars got burnt out one of wich was right under were the camera was and all of the problems came back again.
I stopped off at the cop shop on Sunday and reported it but there aint a lot they can do, at some point they said a PSCO will visit me to discuss it. I wait in anticipation.
Some of the views above I would love to use, I am a crack shot Jenni and a dab hand with the PE. Shame its not allowed.
Nice to see you last week by the way.

It is unfortunately a sign of the times, there is little or no respect for other people. It's neither encouraged in the home by many parents nor instilled in the education of these louts.
None of us were probably angels as youngsters but the people who could make a difference to how we turned out, did. Those that could, now don't because their authority and power has been removed.
Maggie your post #5 - I believe you should be able to sit in most places without risk from others, but you probably meant that anyway.
Bob #22 - I thought exactly the same when I saw that.
There's a Beaconsfield/Barton Path residents meeting this evening at 6.15 in The Red Lion.

I've never heard of that group Tony, where did they advertise the meeting?
I know a million ways to always pick the wrong thing to say

I don't know whether they did advertise it. Steve Davies told me yesterday evening. Perhaps it's supposed to be a secret, you know me - can't keep me gob shut when there's any gossip to be 'ad

It's a neighbourhood watch scheme.
Thats fine with me and have joined, but it seems there are so many of these and other groups I find it hard to believe one group doesnt know about the one next door.
After having a word in the right ear hole this may change for the better.

great for the crime statistics ian.
officially there was no offence.
I saw some yobs down your way Ian, they had the bare-faced cheek to nick someone's front gate! I didn't say anything in case they took offence!

poor ian is the loser, kent is now an even lower crime county!!
good quips from sid and colin though.
That's because all the wealth has been shifted oop ter North Howard. South East Kent is now an impoverished area with nothing worth nicking..

that has always amused me sid, the poor people in the wirral getting subdised by the rich like me.
i remember reading an article in a paper i borrowed off of the chap that irons it for posh barry.
it described a village in cheshire populated mainly by premier league footballers, that was chock full of jewellers, top of the range car dealers, estate agents and designer clothing shops.
still we have plenty of tatto parlours and fast food take aways, shouldn't be greedy.
