Should the Carnival have a shorter route?

the original post was a suggestion for possible improvement, by the end it seems like it was an attack on the whole voluntary sector.

If anyone likes to read what I said on the top posting you will see there is nothing negative there at all but only a suggestion that might help.
I will put up a picture in a minute to show my point... my suggestion was a fair suggestion to try and address the problem...if there is no alternative to the current route then so be it, thats the end of the matter.
If this empty street is not a problem for the organisers then fair enough..

No-one would say anything other than an enormous WELL DONE for the carnival!!!! It was great! It is sometimes useful to have a chat about stuff, tho, and I didn't hear any critisism at all in what was said, but I can identify with feeling tired and cheesed off and then feeling defensive.

I think Paulb was just trying to make a suggestion as he says without any prior knowledge of the orgzanistion and expertese that you have Mandie.
Just a simple reply, Paulb we have discussed this 20 times before would have been enough.
