You misunderstand the passion of Dover supporters(or any other()
Of course any supporter wants its team to be winning and doing well.
Dover is one of the best non league supporter base, so that shows the passion.
thats through the good and bad.
of course some will be critical and want to win every week, but overall Dover is building a great side ready for the push towards the football league.

16:0767161Well, any "supporters" that missed last nights game at Ebbsfleet really missed out on a footballing treat. The Dover team did us proud and you could not spot a weak link in any part of the team or their overall style of play. It`s no exaggeration to say that the 2-0 scoreline flattered the opposition, it so easily could have been five or six and don`t forget last season they were in the Conference and a full-time team..
The comments below have been taken from the Ebbsfleet Fans Forum and simply illustrate how good we were.
We were given some basic lessons tonight:
1. How to win the ball in midfield.
2. How to be direct with the ball upfront.
3. How to finish.
4. How to play the ball on the ground.
5. How to play for each other.
6. How to do the simple things well.
Dover look a settled team and should be capable of competing for a top place on tonights evidence of play.
The Fleet have much work to do
The relatively poor Dover home performances I think, simply reflect the fans high expectations. If, for whatever reason, the team don`t play as well as they can they soon sense the fans frustration and lack of patience which, in turn, starts affecting confidence and when you lose that you then have an uphill struggle to get the result and performance you want.
So give this team time and I`m sure they`ll reward us supporters.

17:2367169It was a super result, not expected by even the hardcore fans. But, Ebbsfleet lost most of their players when dropping out of the Conference and are rebuilding. So, let's not get too carried away with this result as we did with the win at Woking. Cause for optimism though as our new team begins to gel.

08:4767725It was 3 0 to Dover and quite a good game with Dover after 15 minutes pretty well dominating the mid field. First goal was an own goal by their captain who headed a crossed ball backwards and over his keeper, second was a goal from Charles and third a goal from Crawford (new lad on loan) with about his second touch of the ball.
Ex Dover player Simon Wormull plays for Lewis these days and is still a good little player.

20:0268016A very entertaining game and I also bumped into the redoubtable Mr Victor Matcham too.
Vic, you seem to have lost a bit of weight since I last saw you, and you look healthier for it. Don't let that cheeky Mr Samsum ply you with burgers and chips, they're not good for you.
