15 April 2025 09:23387027I can follow the argument that a UK capability to produce virgin steel is of strategic importance to our economy and so on (although having that capability concentrated in a single plant pushes the argument somewhat). But if we have to import the coal/coke and iron ore it consumes, then I can't see that our situation is much improved.(Not my real name.)
