Wouldn't it be a great idea to relay the railway tracks and bring Dover Marine back to it's former glory, but dream on ....

It makes more sence than a sky lift to the castle, I cant see visitors paying to park then pay to use sky lift, in my opinion they will continue to park at the castle and bypass Dover. Having said that, something needs to be added to attract visitors, like an old locomotive running in and out of Dover Marine, Perhaps.

It`s what I`ve said time and again Gary/Barry, a rail service from Victoria to a newly refurbished Dover Marine station. The occasional bit of steam haulage would add to the journey, and bring back the romance of travel.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.
I suspect it would attract a very negative ROI, and therefore it's not very likely to happen, sadly.
