The Sea Front Today
- 24 May 2010 05:4553099Things get washed up on any beach; maybe beach clean-ups by the responsible body should be carried occasionally, although I thought DHB looked after the beach here very well.
Not sure about efluent (is that what you are saying Keith ?) being puimped into the sea near to the shore.

24 May 2010 06:1553104im sure they done some work extending the sewage pipe of shaksphere beach 3/4 years ago to sort that problem out. - 24 May 2010 08:0153109Stopped on the sea front this morning on my way home from work, for a short stroll, and I noticed lots of rubbish everywhere, including fish and chip papers, plastic drink bottles, cans and a couple of instant BBQ`s on the promenade itself. A number of litter bins were overflowing, together with the sea gull population, and also noticed a number of camper vans parked along the front. I suspect that maybe some of these may be responsible, ie clearing out their rubbish after dark? Speculation though. I won`t fill the page with pictures, but one that did stand out was this one.
