She is lovely (and an example of good plastic surgery!) I met her in Selfridges in London a few years ago.

Well good grief...70 years old!! Well she is FAB and no mistake. I'd give her a ride out on me bike anytime so I would. Im sure she would enjoy a nice blast out into the country with her leg over a throbbing engine...

Wow, and to think it might be some of my recycled milk bottle`s there.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.
FFS - I was rather hoping that with the passing of age other attributes such as wit, intelligence, capability and compassion would be recognised as valuable in a woman rather than the predictable cleavage/eyelash/chest combo that men so often lose their sense over..........

Men will always be men, Bern. OK it may cost her a fortune to look that way but she is still 70 and looking better than most of the 20 somethings around Dover on Saturday nights.
Always was one of my favourites, she was, and is come to that!

A sad testament to the culture that plastic surgery is a cure for all ills. Yes, she looks stunning for 70, but how many of your daughters and granddaughters will look at that photo and think 'That's for me'? Real beauty comes from within, not from the operating tables of wealthy quacks.
True friends stab you in the front.

i remember some years ago her daughter married the late freddie truemans son.
she was wearing a dress that revealed most of her and all the pics in the papers were of her cleavage.
a week later on the radio brian johnston remarked to trueman, saw the wedding pics, good picture of you fred.

She`ll have to watch any young children playing with her don`t choke on any small plastic bits.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.
I made the mistake of showing this to my other half and suggesting all was not lost. I am now in the dog-house (with a chavbull terrier

Your other half has all my sympathies........

raquel welch and her plastic surgery.
I think the correct term is cosmetic surgery. What worries me is what the bits we can't see look like! All wrinkled and shrivelled I dare say.

Plastic or not, lots of money or not, she looks stunning.
Real beauty (from within) may be very important, but as far as most mere mortals are concerned, she's only to be looked at and there's nothing wrong with looking.
Roger
She looks amazing. I certainly wouldn't kick her out of bed for spilling her colostomy bag on the pillowcase!

Sid said the thing we dare not mention - the saggy bits that are not displayed. Cosmetic surgery can only do so much. You guys are so easily distracted!! She is 70, that is 70. Old enough to be your grandmother probably - get a grip. It is actually a bit sad that at that age she still feeels she needs to look a certain way. We all lose bits along the way, and part of the joy of ageing is to accept that and live differently.
