hounded??? not at all and nice david you pick up part of regs advice
what reg also stated was that it was under paul watkins watch9something you chose not to recognise)
thats fine.
Reg makes a point on the local hospital which is fair made, Dover maybe needs to decide where or what it wants to be in the future

Dover knows what it wants, its useless politicians like you that mess it up Keith. You were there for 25 years, think of all the money you wasted that could have built a hospital, the DTIZ, created jobs.
You were far too busy arguing with the tories to achieve anything

Just to sum up the £21m .
£14m for WCE.
£7m environmental inprovements to around include Market Sq as you see it today, including fountain.
New museum & cinema were also included in the scheme.
Castle St was completely upgraded and paving of York stone , new lighting to give period look.
Another phase saw Pencester Gdns completely revamped.
David, I'm not point scoring just supplying the facts.
I hate the distortions to the truth-as I saw it at first hand at the time.
Was it right to do it? I believe it was, nobody else was prepared to invest in Dover at the time.

the thing is that if the project had not gone ahead many would have claimed that the council had no vision for dover, damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Very honest reply Paul. I agree totally re distortions, 1 or 2 on here seem to specialise in that.
I stand by what I said earlier though, the reds and blues are as bad as each other at pointing fingers, all very immature. More importantly it means that time and money is wasted when it could be better spent.

All this reminds me that I've got to renew my museum membership.
