Very rarely see a pigeon where I live and have never seen one on my window sills, someone had emptied a bag of seed near to the entrance of Asda this morning resulting in a pigeon feeding frenzy.
Normally they do it further away near the river.

The hawk-eyed of you will have noticed that the tree is not a cedar at all. Certain that it isn't a chestnut, I've invoked the poetic licence suggested by the canopy's shape and settled on a genus that scanned.
In short, anyone in the know? The leaves suggest some form of cherry.

According to the new Tourism Supremo at DDC 'Dover could become the Muscle Beach of the South Coast'!

Who on earth thought up this idea .Surely not the local Councillor. The Bridge was taken away and children loved going over it quite an adventure .A bridge too far I would say.Thenflowers along that area have returned. The last thing I want to see whilst out for a walk is a lot of people using gymn equipment .Crazy .Who DDC employ to come up with these ideas .

You liked the one at Capel Sue you were one of the dignitaries at the opening, incidentally the application is from the town council not DDC.

Yes but the one at Capel was part of their recreation ground .Sorry DDC well DTC are to blame .You can run up and down the sea front no need for gymnastics equipment.Their are facilities at St James also Marina hotel.
They would do better sorting out the problems with the drunks in the town .

Took the words out of my mouth, Mr McS - it's one of DTC's ambitions on their plan.
Along with tourist transport along the seafront. And a sandy beach.

Can't blame DTC for the drunks problem, it's a matter for the police and DDC to pay lip service to.

The Councils should work together.I have objected to the proposal. There are plenty of other parks open spaces for this kind of facility.Howard you can not compare Capel with Dover sea front

What crazy baldhead drew that one up? It's not Pacific Beach down there ffs.

The need for codpieces is indeed clear, otherwise 50% of visitors are likely to rue their trip on the zipwire down from the castle!
