15:1431503Sorry Bern, I`m sure you did link the two, desert and mirage. As Rick says, straight to the skin colour. I often wonder if a black alien appeared the Americans would cover it up, but if it was white, they`d embrace it and give it U.S. citizenship.

15:5131507I remember reading somewhere that as Earth was being formed and flung out into space that had it stopped 1 second (or part there of) sooner it would have been too close to the Sun and unable to sustain life.Also had it stopped one second later it would have been too far from the Sun and unable to sustain life. In other words it stopped in the exact spot that was suitable in order for life to evolve. A bit spooky.
The Universe only exists because Man is here to witness and record it.Its like sound...does it exist in space?

19:0031522Regarding intelligence, we`ve been around for only tens of thousands of years. The dinosaurs were around for 350 million years, and never developed it. Life out there doesn`t guarantee intelligence.
