Vic was close, that is the old nightclub behind the photographer, must be the roof of the building on the other side of Dolphin Passage, used to be a solicitors office, now being converted into flats.

It is on the roof of the carpet store in Castl

If so it is an old photo because their parapet wall fell down a couple of years ago and now they have a much more streamlined fascia. Also the roof of the co-op is much cleaner than the one in the picture.

I'm convinced that the end wall on the right hand side with the two windows (one bricked up I think) is Dino's and the flats in the background is Stembrook.

Terry was right - the top of the multi story with the cinema roof on the left !!
(This was an officially allowed visit by parking services a couple of years ago
