If there was a chance of it being restored Paul, I am all for it, but somehow I doubt it will be.
It is indeed (structurally) a grand building. l I think you put an old photo of it - as the Shakespeare Hotel, on here a couple of weeks or so ago and good it looked - then.

La Scala is just off the picture Peter. On the right is the yellow burglar alarm shop, formerly a mobile phone emporium where I think the owner did a runner.

You've got me on this one Howard. I can tell from the aerials and sat dish that you are looking north west. The ex-rediffusion wall brackets worry me as well. It's got that Worthington Street look about it but I'm sure it isn't.
