Iv'e reported it at least four times over the years. An engineer will eventually turn up and "secure" it with a large cable clip which survives for about two days. On the last occasion I gave up trying to report it as the Indian sounding man couldn't do anything about it without the "faulty" telephone number.
BTW the cable is in conduit as it used to be bank's direct line to the alarm central control.
