Double standards here, perhaps? Vic's only doing what every other politician does here, or at Whitfield, or at County Hall, or at Westminster, or anywhere where politicans seek to gain election: he's trying to exploit a weakness. Nigel made a mistake, Vic's trying to build on it. That's what politics is all about, and if anyone thinks I'm not speaking the absolute truth, then cast your minds back to the Status Quo shambles when all and sundry were calling for Vic's head.
If it were any other way, Vic would be attracting criticism for keeping quiet on the toilets issue. Damned whichever way he turns, as are all who take up the poisoned chalice of politics.
As for Nigel, he made a mistake. For the time being, that's been rectified - can we now move on?
True friends stab you in the front.
