12:537293Don't give up posting on here Sue we'll miss you.
You're one of the few Councillors that doesn't mind taking a bit of stick providing it's not personal.
Your son must have been in a lot of pain, hope he gets better soon.

Good to see you're still about. Hope your son is better soon too.
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

09:147371Goodness, how on earth does one break a shoulder bone? It sounds most dreadfully painful. I hope your son recovers well and quickly, Sue. Best of luck with your kitchen works too.

20:137397HI Sue,no I wasn't in the audience and yes I am taking part in Democracy Day,it seems pretty scary having 30 students asking questions about politics, you would mind it easy in a Grandmotherly way,me what have I volunteered for.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

you could describe your chagrin at being an elected councillor and kept in the dark about where council tax payers money is being invested.
if that does not "wow" the students tell them the one liner about council meetings being open to the public, but how
the real decisions are made at cabinet level(in private).
you could become a cult figure with the students, a bit like ben elton used to be.
