The last time I renewed my passport I used the ten year old left over photos from the last time I did it. And I think they were about nine years old the first time I submitted them. So my current passport photo is of me about twenty nine years ago. Still, I've always cleared ID checks and that is all that matters.
Tempted to submit the same image again. Such is vanity.
You must still be looking young then!, no, you don’t need the print out at all as the number also shows on the screen and you can simply jot it down. I guess most Tesco have a photo booth, they have just about everything else now, glasses, keys, medicines, phone companies etc.
