Well he's in now
Not voted by the people as yet
Now he will have to deliver brexit in a very divided party
And Commons making it difficult for him to disband the commons to get a deal through.
Now he has to deliver so he will have a honey moon period until the end of October
Then if he doesn't deliver will face a show down not only in his party
But also across the country

Brian
That is a problem they have to be replaced with a party
Everyone (or lots) saying they don't want this govt but if u want rid you have to vote for an alternative and they have to win
It's not as easy as just ridding the country of a govt

Got a pin handy Brian?......a simple prick, with eyes closed, should find a more positive answer!
...................doesn’t really. cut the mustard does it?
An easy solution to all the UK’s problems would be to have a government that governs for the people or just hands the keys of ‘government’ to our European ‘partners’ now rather than later.
The whole Brexit / government fiasco has reached the stage when we should start helping ourselves rather than allow a bunch of hooray Henry’s the freedom to push there own personal agendas.
We now live in britain NOT Great Britain

Think I'm right in saying that both the Pound and FTSE are up.
However, before we read too much into this, note that "The FTSE 100 is now 33.5 points or 0.5% ahead to 7,543.12, led by travel group Tui, which rose 2.6% to 825.6p. On Friday, Tui, together with Thomas Cook and First Choice, were named the worst package holiday providers in a Which? travel survey." It's a mad world!

So, Hunt is out. The way things are shaping up, I see a Tory civil war on the horizon. For the sake of the country, it is absolutely imperative that the Labour party gets its act together - immediately. We need and deserve effective opposition at this point.

I agree, Neil, but sadly I doubt that that will be the case under the current Labour leadership.
What sort of race seeks to be led by Boris, I wonder? No wonder the real statesmen are publicly cringing.

Brexit (for Boris) was only ever a vehicle for him to become PM, which he has now achieved. It is right, therefore, that he and his team own this - good or bad. They will be responsible as he himself set out. Buckle up, folks.

I not a Boris fan but I hope he can shake those in Westminster to actually think of what is best, on so many subjects, for the UK and its people rather than what is best for themselves or their own poxy party image.
Maybe a miracle might happen but I definitely will not put money on it.

Exactly, those that ignore their constituents wishes could be in trouble come the next election. Politicians apparent contempt for the electorate is probably the only reason the Brexit Party and the Lib Dems did so well in the recent European Elections.
