That's quite funny Brian.
The journo says we deserve better people, well if Cameron and Milliband had more bottle we'd have had the opportunity to judge.

No David, if UKIP ever came to power they would take us straight out without bothering with a referendum. Electing UKIP to power would itself be a huge OUT vote and the referendun would be unnecessary.

Lets be realistic Peter, at the next election UKIP wont be the majority party. But we might just replace the Libs as the minority in a coalition, that has to be a realistic aim

I studiously avoided watching both 'debates' as I am aware of all the issues and have already made up my mind about Europe. Anyway, 'er Indoors wanted to watch Emmerdale.

the debate doesn't seem to have solved anything, pro and antis neck and neck with a surprisingly high number of undecideds.

Love the bit about renegotiating the terms Howard, the penny will soon drop that it's non negotiable.
I see Charlie is still sitting on the fence.

correct david, the word renegotiate and reform are bandied about but barosso to his credit has made it quite clear that any changes have to be approved by all member states.
reform is quite clearly not possible and he goes on to say that dave has never even contacted him over talks.
ed talks of a referendum if more powers are acceded to the eu knowing full well there are hardly any left.

Spot on Howard, the 2 debates are just the start of the dismantling of the argument.

Judging by the polls in the mail on sunday today the electorate re catching on Howard. UKIP are on 20%, twice that of the lib dems with the Tories on 29%.
It would be silly to get carried away with one poll but those figures are extraordinary.
