"And who's words are they Keith?"
Could be anyone without a GCSE in maths, English or economics.

I note that Keith is still trying on that old failed mantra that the current crisis was the banks fault. That is no more than a fig leaf for the last government. The banking crisis started because of a cyclical slowdown in the economy, the UK slowdown being a lot worse than it need be because Brown ran the economy as if he had 'banned boom and bust' - he must really have believed that conceit.
The slowdown started in 2007, the bank crisis hit in October 2008.
The banks did not create the massive deficit the government had in 2007 despite many years beforehand of higher and higher tax revenues accruing.
So what was the source you copied that from then Keith? It is not your style of writing, it has capitals....

Whilst I appreciate comments from all, how people write should not be a form of ridicule, We should encourage people to post
Of course I have broad shoulders
but just think, everyone is not like me and could be put off posting by those comments

The two posters above both seem to be lacking a sense of humour in this chilly weather.
Better not say any more in case I get accused of ridicule.

Banker defies RBS debacle and anger over payouts to land £ 17 million ``golden hello``
A Banker who advised on the diasterous takeover of ABN Amro by The Royal Bank of Scotland,
which almost broke the Scotish Bank, will be handed £ 17.5 million ``golden hello``by UBS
despite a world wide backlash against large corporate pay deals.

More fool UBS. But none of our business as it's not our money. What right do we have to criticise a Swiss bank for paying silly money to an Italian?

Wealthy find new tax loopholes before Ossie relief cap bites.
Rich investors are preparing to shelter millions of pounds from the Tax man next year despite
the government introducing a cap on tax relief.
Ossie announced a year ago he would limit the amount people could offset their tax bill by the
greater of £ 50,000 or a quarter of their income.
Ossie`s cap was to stop hundreds of rich investors avoiding tax by creating artificial losses set
against other income.
However finance johnnie Tim Levy of Future Capital Partners has devised a scheme to scupper
Ossies plans for a futher 12 months.

Bahrain violence convinces Vodaphone to end its deal with F1.
Because of Bahrain government`s violence the Bahrain F1 grand prix in 2011 was cancelled.
In 2012 Bernie Ecclestone, ( top ten egp ),ignored the terrible violence and abuse used by the
Bahrain government and push through regardless to allow the grand prix to be held, picking up his
£ 20 million bonus.
After the terrible scenes of violence and abuse Vodaphone reviewed their sponsership for F1.
They have now pulled the plug on their long running sponership of Mclaren worth £ 70 million pa.
Unfortunately egp`s Rolex and Emirates airlines may step in to fill the gap in sponsership.
EGP`s are a major problem with their lust for a dollar more and for justice.
