Oh well the highly respected Institute of Fiscal Studies has broken the news today that most of us expected. Whichever colour of government we get is going to hit us in the pocket.
If it is Blue led then child benefit and working tax credits will bear the brunt and if it is Red led we will all pay more tax to c
protect public services.
Take your pick chaps and chapesses.

I've taken my pick, Howard, which is why I won't vote. Only the terminally stupid would even consider voting for any of these fools.
Take heart that at least you can say that you weren't to blame for whoever gets into power and the damage that will be done to our country.

I think you will be one of many Philip I don't see any of the permutations on offer doing a good job of getting us out of the current predicament. Polls today showed the blues with a 5% lead, another showed them neck and neck and the most interesting one suggested that up to half of all voters hadn't made up their mind.

I wonder if any of those polls show those who will not bother voting even if they have a preference possibly because they think all politicians are a simply relying on spin and lies.

Taking your point a stage further Peter. Do we vote for the candidate or the party who would do least damage?

Knocking on doors, most people are either out, or don't open their front door. Many of those who do open their door and are happy to chat, say they haven't made their mind up.
It looks like the "Out" party may win.

Street stalls in our town centre this morning courtesy of the Reds, Blues and Purples. Last ditch effort to woo the undecided of which there are still many as stated above.

I did think about just drawing a 'c!ck' on one ballot slip but think it may confuse the counters as to which candidate to assign it to

A roadside poster of Tracey Couch was similarly adorned and she was not amused.

Scottish Reds have been given a new lease of life by Ed, whether they can drag enough voters back before Thursday is the question.

I think the SNP bubble may be ready to burst Peter, Sturgeon is clearly rattled by Ed's refusal to play along and had even offered to not ask for another referendum in the next Parliament. I watched the Scottish leaders debate this evening and her cool smugness was not there.
41 Reds and 6 SNP MP's in 2010 - projected clean sweep now but we have an interesting 3 days of soul searching from the sweaty sock voters.
