None the wiser Bob just looks to me like youngsters enacting foreplay before waving national flags around.

Basically they are an offshoot of the Irish Republican Prisoners Welfare Association who are still claiming that those still locked up in Maghaberry Prison NI are 'political prisoners'. I suggest the agenda is possibly slightly more than that of flag waving youngsters

- but what does little old me know?

I looked up @CumannGS and @JLRFB which are featured on post#120..Howard may say they are kids enacting in the privacy of their bedrooms..Looking at some of the posts featured, they seem scary kids?
Howard said on another post, that it doesn't look good for the Labour Party to be involved with Antifa and SWP.
I know that Thanet Momentum are associated with Thanet Labour Party. As you may know Momentum was set up to help Jeremy Corbyn in his Leadership bid..John McDonnell the Shadow Chancellor does a lot at Momentum events..
To be a member of Momentum you do not have to be a member of the Labour Party and I understand Bunny La Roache of the Socialist Workers Party and Ian Driver of the Green Party are involved with Thanet Momentum but Peter Wallace knows more about it than I do. Peter spent 3 months as Campaign Manager for Will Scobie the Labour Candidate before 7th May that maybe why there is a uneasy relationship between Clair Hawkins and Peter. Thanet Labour including Momentum and others will be marching through Dover.
I do think that it is totally unnecessary for Dover to be disrupted on Saturday 30th January by rightwing and leftwing protesters.
Finally London Action For Palestine and Class War,a anarchist group will be marching on the 30th..Anarchy is the correct description for this march.

I was just about to post on this Peter. I cannot see any link between the new group and the Irish Republican Prisoners Welfare, I didn't think there were any prisoners left - Good Friday agreement and all that.
CumannGs and JLRFB both sound like Twitter names and I am not on that format. Most of these ragbag groups somehow manage to lure in otherwise responsible and intelligent people, never worked out why.

'Twitter names and I am not on that format' wise words Howard! Meanwhile:-
Nick Hardwick, Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Prisons in England and Wales, said Maghaberry is the most dangerous prison he has inspected in his role

I wryly note that previous posters are highlighting the left wing groups that are coming to oppose the march organised for Jan 30th involving a whole collection of very dubious right wing groups. Perhaps they are only coming because the Biffers and their pals are being allowed to march.
What I want to know is who authorised this march for it is they who are responsible for the disruption to our town

Ross, I do not want any marchers of any group on any subject coming to Dover.
These marches use up valuable police resources, disrupt the town and achieve nothing positive, ok they might get publicity but that is usually on the negative side.
In other words I believe marches and also demonstrations are a complete waste of energy, time and money.

The whole issue of street marches seem to be irrelevant, in the sixties people marched for gay rights or civil rights for black people in the states, nowadays I cannot think of something as major. We can protest about privatising the health service and abolishing tuition fees but that will have no effect. For those who would like something to do on Saturday the demonstration starts in "Market Place" at 12 noon.

I would like every business in Dover to display a placard saying Demonstrators ARENT Welcome Here.

Perhaps someone should explain to the fly posters that in 1939 Dover along with most of Europe was being trampled underfoot by a great war machine that intended to totally subjugate people and arranging trips to death camps for millions of people that they did not like.
The equivalent in 2016 is a few dozen tattooed bald blokes most of whom sport a beer belly and an attitude problem, not quite the same threat.
