When you say you were in Dover yesterday do you mean that you watched some of the demonstration Peter?
Incidentally your namesake was in Ramsgate yesterday helping out the Labour candidate in Thursday's by-election.

A lot of folks can't see the economic case for the future of the Western Docks revival as a freight terminal - maybe there's a hidden agenda behind all those warehouses.
And the Western Heights/Farthingloe developments for officers.
And the Connaught Barracks 'social housing' for lower ranks.
It would all make sense for conspiracy theorists.

Refugees and migrants at the moment have occupied Calais ferry port.They have also taken over the Spirit of Britain ship.In the pictures published apart from migrants, there are many Open Borders activists involved.
I assume this is a prelude to next Saturday, day of action in Dover

A good turnout in Market Square with no visible trouble makers in attendance, the only people I recognised were Pam Brivio, Ben Bano and his Worshipful the Mayor. Priory Station forecourt was bedecked follicly challenged with union flags at 11 am two hours prior to scheduled arrival but the sheer numbers and sizes of police officers should make things run smoothly.

Have just seen a bloody shoe lying in the middle of Folkestone rd by petrol station amongst all the broken glass and other detritus.
Falstaff is full of anti fascist thugs and idiots, as is the castle I imagine.
