So I will try again
With regard to M Wood
I do feel we get to bogged down sometimes on these issues and p walker is a good example
M Wood goes on to indicate that party politicians have the answers?
Whilst community representatives or indies dont
That's far from the truth
I do share her views that local people elected as a popular guy
Had Labour been a listening local party at the time I wouldn't be there now
But having stood I made sure the community was behind me first
I feel local people get fed up of politicians Labour saying its all the tories fault and tories saying its all labour's fault
On Dtc. I vote for the persons ideas that are good for Dover no matter what party they are from. Or indy.
If M Wood feels after losing 2 cllrs and more to follow that there not in meltdown that shows I'm. Correct that Labour is to much inward looking
I will see how this develops

With regard to Sue's comments
There are clearly differing views on the 3 Labour cllrs or ex Labour cllrs
That's democracy
But its fair to say we worked together on a number of projects even where we may differ
I don't agree sue with your comment on M Woods being unable to comment on DDC
Matters I wish all our elected cllrs spoke up more. Work more in communities
But I suppose that's a wish unlikely to to change
I won't comment on how wonderful Sue felt she was whilst on DDC as a lib dem or Rory cllr lol

Lol Miriam, you need to do more than just pound the doorsteps every now and again to win an election. Labour faces a huge problem in the local mind and needs to rebrand itself. You need to get into the community for the common good, like all socialists, communists and commonsists should be doing.
Instead of acting as a bunch of contrarians to the conservatives and patting yourselves on the back for your vacuous virtual signaling...or attacking other members from inside your hostile clique.
Also instead just asserting you have plans...put them on the table. I can claim I have the ability to make cold fusion, unless i can explain how i do that it is nonsense.
Tourism? why? You seem to be trying to recreate a past that no longer exists than making a working future. Plus tourism is a fickle and inconsistent system that doesn't provide jobs year round.

Keith you really should read posts.I did not say I was a wonderful Councillor just told the truth re housing matters.Yes I did open Housing complexes but that was part of the job .The point being made the Conservatives did build houses,
I was pointing out to Cllr Wood being A District Councillor not the same as a Town Councillor or Parish Councilllor.
Keith i did not cross the floor .I retired for a year .i was fortunate to become the Chairman of the Council but that did not make me the most wonderful person.i have always been prepared to listen and to express my views.I never aspired to be a leader.

Cllr Wood appears to believe that DDC are responsible for the shortage of council housing but it is central Government that have stopped local authorities from borrowing in order to build.

Cor this may be unusual but I'm going to defend M Wood
I think she was speaking in general terms on what she felt the Labour Party wanted to do all levels
Whilst I may not fully support all her views
I feel it only right to be fair

Pr*ck -Noun not in polite use. Applies to those who hide behind playground names to attack others.

you used google...go on then explain what snowflake is? Apart from a buzzwords that normies have latched onto and removed it from the original intended usage it had.
