Makes the most riotous kindergarten look positively civilised. No wonder we're in such a bleeding mess.

This is the sum total of the BBC reporting on the accusations that Corbyn could have been a spy in the 5 days since the sun published the story:

The BBC can never win, Labour and Tory supporters both hate "Auntie" which suggests they are doing a good job. As an aside someone posted on social media earlier that "the BBC were owned by the torrieys."!!

They are not there to win Howard they are supposed to report the news.

The BBC and Sky are much to busy reporting about President Trump's latest tweet to bother with in-depth reporting about anyone or anything, that is apart from the latest gossip about Brexit.
Most of the time the quality of TV news is well below par at the moment.

If it had been the Daily Star I might have taken the story seriously Reg but the Sun never tell the truth. I can state categorically that Freddie Starr never ate my hamster, someone looking like Mrs May did the deed.

Don't spoil the Sun and Mail readers' fun. You know how they enjoy a good pack of lies when it suits them.

I shall stick to the Express. A different cure/cause of cancer/heart disease/stroke etc every day PLUS pictures of Lady Di! What's not to like?

I loved the way the tabloids described high level Labour politicians selling secrets to Eastern Bloc countries. 30 years ago they were young opposition back benchers with about as much knowledge of secrets as me.

For Heaven's sake let's get real. In spite of the supposed restrictions of the Wilson Doctrine (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilson_Doctrine ) even our own 'side' have been taking more than a passing interest in the doings of our MPs over the years.
It has been the nature and indeed job of foreign 'agents' to nurture friendships with MPs, Civil Servants, military personnel at ALL levels etc. It's what they do!
It has also been expected that such 'approaches' would be reported.

It's got him rattled. Here's the absolute boy making threats against the free press. ALL oppressive regimes do this. At least the threat this time is only against "billionaire tax exile” owners of newspapers and there's no overt claim that they follow any particular religion.
The Press in the Third Reich
ESTABLISHING CONTROL OF THE PRESS
When Adolf Hitler took power in 1933, the Nazis controlled less than three percent of Germany’s 4,700 papers.
The elimination of the German multi-party political system not only brought about the demise of hundreds of newspapers produced by outlawed political parties; it also allowed the state to seize the printing plants and equipment of the Communist and Social Democratic Parties, which were often turned over directly to the Nazi Party. In the following months, the Nazis established control or exerted influence over independent press organs.
'Change is coming' indeed.

You and your fellow travellers are sounding very desperate Bob, leaving aside the Sun do you have any editorials from "Take a break", "Asian babes" or "Hello" that we can read and digest?
