Keith, you are always saying about the public being put off by Politics, so why upset people's shopping by being in their face when they want to go into Morrisons ?
I'm glad you told me they were going to be there as I went somewhere else for my shopping. I'm sure that if Morrisons know that the labour party are putting people off of going into their shop, they wouldn't want them there again.
I guess that if you keep telling yourself nonsense and self-deceit, you'll eventually believe it.
I don't agree with all the things that the Government are doing, but God help us all if Labour ever get back in - and that applies to DDC as well.

It would take something more important than some local political bods of any party to put me off going to my favourite supermarket, I am surprised at Roger being so petty.
Unless I had a specific question I would walk straight past them the same as I do with the double glazing, power company or those charity people.

I Think Jan/martin are correct just walk past them if you dont wish to speak to them
The labour party locally use many ways to contact people this just being one of them
and unlike UKIP they do it all the year round whether or not theres an election looming.
Of course roger doesnt have time for the labour party
just like i dont the conservative party
but if the tories were at morrisons or whereever i would choose whether or not to speak with them
usually i do lol
i spoken with mr collor and mr elphicke before
and many other tories over the years when there out and about
we may have differences(and by the way roger i feel the sooner we are rid of your lot the better)
doesnt mean we cant be civil
im all for all parties to communicate there message
one of the reasons people switch off politics is posts like rogrs
totally biased unreasonable, a bit like a person and his religion lol

the reds have always been far and away better than the others at communicating with the public and people always stop to chat with them when they are outside the town council offices. good to see peter ripley and chums going on the knocker, it does pay dividends.

I suggest Clair keeps an eye on Mr.Wallace...He may have ambitions, above his Councillor status...
Howard,I was taught and trained in 1994/95/96/97 in my previous life of political activity with the Labour Party. ..Of course it all changed when Blair lied and helped Bush invade Iraq in 2003...I was one of the 1million who opposed this by marching in London 2003....But it was not the only reason I left the Labour Party or it could be called, the Labour Party left me..

seem on the ball to me brian, street surgeries on a sunday morning, then the morrison's saturday morning, now a mid week evening surgery in town.
no doubt there will be some that still complain that their councillors only come round at election time.
