And player and manager sent off
Looks like they are hoping to retain around 4 or 6 of present squad and with a mixture of youngsters and few experienced players they think they shoujd be at least in play offs

Pre-season not going well.
Have recent lost to Deal, Margate, Larkfield & New Hythe (who?) and Ramsgate without scoring a goal.

They have a fair side
But others in the league are upping the game on signings
Dover predicted to come 14th!

Not surprisingly lost at Folkestone 1-0.
The club only have one goalkeeper at the moment, he's 40 and has hardly played a game in three years. He went off injured and Dover had to borrow Folkestone's sub keeper.
Anyone know a millionaire who fancies owning a football club?

Worthing 1
Dover 1
Dover started poorly gave goal away in third min
And looked out of sorts for the first twenty mins .
But then came into the game equalising .
Although second half Worthing missed a pen .
It was end to end and could have gone either way .
Good. Point for Dover .
Surprizing Pavey was substituted as I felt he was doing well and he wasn't happy .
Also to Marr things some Dover fans were in a fight prob drink related which resulted in police .
Hope if the know who the fans are that were kicking people on ground
That they are banned for life if proved .
It saddened what was a good day out for Dover and I'm sure they would have settled for a point before the game

The usual idiots turned up. The ones who’d been banned from Crabble I believe.
Good performance on the pitch which was surprising. Personally I thought Pavey was his usual ineffective self and Carney looked more threatening when he came on.

We may. Differ here a little Karlos.
Pavey won most of the balls in the air, and held the ball up .
Wouldn't say he was the worst player .
On the fans , the genuine supporters will probably lose out to the idiots .
Worthing continued without segregation it was a little concerning to hear a steward saying to another steward they had no idea what the plan was .
That was just before the incident .
Most enjoyed a few beers both in the town and ground and enjoyed the game , those that want to get drunk and can't hold there beer should not be welcome at Crabble.
Speaking to a number of Dover fans they support them being banned and if your correct Karlos it's already happened all good

Tonight's game
Dover 1
Tonbridge 2
On today's performance this is going to be another long season .
To many high balls , second half became very predictable.
Although the Tonbridge keepers saved a certain goal
I don't think Dover are top 10 contenders .
But there's a long way to go
Let's hope things change

Ebbsfleet 3
Dover. 0
Although at 1-0
Dover could have sneaked an equaliser
They gave ball away to. Easily and marking and standing off players made it easy for the fleet .
Hess saying Dover did well I'm sure he was at a different game .
If they don't get more consistent I think Hess may have to go
Although it is early doors , and club not got much Dosh keeps him in a job

I think it will only take a 9-0 defeat for Parmenter to act.
Or perhaps a another loss to a lower league team in the FA Cup next month.

A pattern emerges. We'll beat the poorer teams (at home at least), we'll get stuffed by the better teams and finish 16th. I'll take that.

Karlos /Neil
I understand where your coming from .
Dover doesn't have the dosh to get rid of Hess or a new manager so we will stumble through the season .
When Neil you speak of smaller teams , there are not many smaller than Dover .
I recall attending chairman manager's meeting where Dover stated they were to be the second highest budget in league ,(from the signings that wasn't correct)
And they certainly gave impression of being in and around play offs which is unlikely .
But I will watch them whatever the league.
Small thing that appears to be creeping in to Dover fans , a fan from Dover i presume been drinking again dealt with by police after the game.
Sad that before game ebbsfleet had to announce through police and health and safety advice they had to segregate the game .
Not reflecting well on club.
Having said that I understand the very small minority are banned already from crabble .
I'm off to Eastbourne Saturday
