Apparently the White Horse is open his Friday Evening.
I have only been a short while on the FORUM but already realise that Barry is posh (for Dover), Sid is ranting, Bern is politically correct, Howard etc. etc but have no idea what/who/why you are (in real life) and why you waste you time in cyberspace.
How about a meet up this Friday in the White Horse?
I might even turn up myself? (Though my partner says that I am a real disappointment in the flesh)

Bob
I have met up with a number of forumites at other do's in the past and had a super time. Do you remember where the White Horse is???
At least this time you (we) won't have Farrage or Dilly breathing down your(our) neck(s).Sorry I can't be there but I was deported to Jersey for.....(complete refusal details...).
Hope you all have a great evening.
Marek
I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)

I shall be there Bob. Although I understand that your hairstyle does resemble that of your avatar, you have the advantage over me in that I don't know you, so you will have to look out for me. My avatar is me looking posh at a friend's wedding last year, and on Friday I shall be in the same HMD suit as I shall be hotfooting it back from the postponed Walter Tull book launch. See you there!
True friends stab you in the front.
Although sadly I am as much of a disappointment in reality as Bobs partner indicates he may also be (although I don't believe it for a second!), I will again attempt to turn up - I always try to make it to these things and rarely do as things crop up, or traffic, or family, or work, the list is endless. But I want to support Jeanette and meet some folks!! So I will do my very best to be there - I will be the dumpy old bottle blonde. There - doesn't that sound glam!!!!!

We have just got back in,must say we both had a very nice time we both love meeting up with all the folk we know and my wife loves to chat, and chat, chat.I would also like to thank the landlady for the food and I hope they do very well.
There are not many good old pubs like that one around anymore,I do not drink but it will get my support with just a coke or two,so hope to see you all at times in there. Vic MATCHAM

Yes was good to see the White Horse heaving last night and back on tip top form. Many of the oul familiar forumites were there. Had two bottles of Gallo Pinot on our table last night..I think I must have drank most of it as Im not visualising the screen too good this morning and the Led Zeppelin drummer is playing solo routines in my head.
ColetteB was snapping away and will get some pictures up in a day or so on frontpage.

Wish I had been there, but like Jeane I am trying to kick the dreaded Lurgi.
It kept me up till 04.00 the other night Roger (not out singing I'm afraid).
Am sounding like Rod Stewpot at the moment, grrrr
Oh Boy!, That'll be the day.........
