  I seem to remember not so long ago the feeling was, go ahead and do it, and that was to do with the Dour.

  Just before the snow fades into memory, here are a last couple of pics for you. These were taken by a friend of mine and show local bin men hard at work on London Road clearing the pavements at about 8am on the 7th.   Our bin men came the day after a fall of heavy snow last week and as the path was iced up one stood at the top and one on the end and sent the black plastic sacks along the path like they were in a bowling alley. It was very clever and the rubbish was collected in no time!

  It wasnt until I looked at the second picture that I realised where the pictures were taken .I call that area the High Street .Its The Old Vic Hospital isnt it ?My son used to live over Blackmans .shop.
