09:387729It's what he says Sue. He has a DDC id badge to prove it.
Bern - A Labour cllr tells me that "head office" is aware of the situation.
Here's another bombshell for you. I don't know what the charge was but when he was arrested "interfering with" and "young boy" came into it.

10:197733You appreciate Terry I have to be careful yes the person does have a badge but that does not give the right to do what you say he is doing.I will make sure a police check has been made .

11:487738If the police are this ineffectual he may not even have a record. And if he does have a badge not only does that not give him the right to do what he is doing to poor Terry but it is alarming to think what he could be doing to people less able to speak out.

12:487743Yes, you are in a very difficult position Sue and I realise that. However all that I have said is fact. This guy says he work's for the council. Even now he is out with his clipboard wearing his DDC badge and chatting to people about something or other. Surely he should only wear his badge when on official business and not trying to promote whatever personal thing he is up to.
I think that it speaks volumes that I have never mentioned his name but all the people in my immediate vicinity know who I am talking about.
I did mention earlier about a meeting at my house. One of the neighbours at that meeting was being harrassed by him. In the end she refused to go ahead with any complaint as "her son would get his legs broken". That's the power he has. As Bern says he probably got through a CRB check, that's because he always gets others to do things for him.

13:457744Terry I do have concerns I know who this person is and there and has no right to go round with clip boards .We have elected councillors for people to raise concerns with .This person should be careful and im not aware of any survey that is being carried out .I have already emailed the relevant officer of DDC and will be following it up on Monday morning.

16:017751Couldn't possibly comment Brian.
Hope to see you in Blakes on Monday if you can make it. Sorry I don't get to GC meetings, it's a busy life for us old 'uns. Following day I've got a Hellfire Corner meeting at the same place.
Tomorow I'm off to Keynsham (that's spelled K.E.Y.N.S.H.A.M, an old joke from 208 days) to collect a dog

19:437758I do feel for you Terry and I think you know me well enough by now, I hate to say this and alot of you will disagree with what I say.
After all of the pain that Terry and his wife have gone through, only the words....base ball bat and tit for tat come to mind.
IF I had have been in Terry's position I think I would be serving time by now.....
only my opinion.
Ian...
I do hope you get it sorted mate.

18:077784Keith, as you well know, that ward has more than one councillor; or are you saying that the Independents are the only ones to be expected to do any work in their wards?
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

I was merely [pointing out that having won the seat(indies party) but picking a name out the hat
to then be a long way from Dover didNt help the local electorate of St Rads.
But I have nothing to gain from this election as I don't live in the ward, and thankfully I'm not putting up for the council.
On a seperate posting I have said each ;party has a number of cllrs that work hard.

21:327788if the ward councillers and bodys that have been put in place arnt doing there job then the system needs to be changed.the people who cause troble should be aproched with theupmost vigor and warned that behaviour is not acceptable and that any more behavour and they will end up being prosacuted to the maximum penalty.
