21:347789Sadly brian we are no longer in that kind of society, many changes have been made by both the major parties that has weakened society.
It will take a long time(if ever)to change things,
sad fact of life

10:117915Not been able to post for a few days, so I'm quite a bit late with comments, but would like to say that I had heard about Terry's problems before and sent them to the ASB unit (as was), but sadly (and mystifyingly) nothing was done, which then makes people wonder who WILL do something.
What about one of our local papers taking up the story and exposing this guy for what he really is ?
I find this a very scary story - that this kind of activity can go on for so many years and no one resolves the problem; no one has the balls to sort it out.

19:127928i had to smile at roger's post.
no-one i know has ever got a reply, that includes myself.
actually, i tell a small lie there, after giving up on my complaint i emailed the council itself(rather than the department) and was told that the unit was still in operation.
i was told that it would be best to ring a direct number, if there was no-one there, to leave a message on the machine.
mine was a fairly serious allegation too.

20:087973I wonder where all the investigative journalists have gone? Time was that a curious and enthusiastic journo would pursue this kind of story and get an outcome, with details and pics thrown in. Is that too difficult now that journos rely on celebrity pics bought off the net and are content to be fed the lines from the authorities?

21:097979both of our esteemed organs read all the local websites and sometimes quote from them .
they clearly find this much easier than making a follow up investigation.
