But, but, less than a month ago Andrew Marr told us:
'For the first time in many of our lives, actually Britain looks like a little haven of peace and stability'.
I won't have it that the best of the UK's many respected journalists of integrity is really quite stupid.
I mean, he's written books.

Since the general election:
1) Migrants crossing the English Channel - 3977
2) Criminal gangs “smashed” - zero

Labour have at last announced their plan to tackle the Channel migrant crisis:
1) Instigate a root and branch review
2) Launch a commission
3) Order an independent investigation
4) Draw up a roadmap
5) Create a timing plan for change

In other words waste more money while they try to come up with a plan instead of employing more people to clear the existing and future illegal immigrant mess.

Half of Dover have now joined Border Force as they have zero educational requirements. As long as you're not actually ESN they'll take anyone on. You can then 'job share' straight away so hardly need to turn up.
Swimming pool attendant, bar manager, local journalist etc etc
100 'Intelligence' officers about to be employed?
Presumably they're now looking for GCSEs?

Never mind Vic, obviously those who live in the Deal area are unable to reach the needed standard. As for job sharing much like many other important jobs, like teachers and medics, it simplifies and allows the highly qualified to return to work.

Sorry to say that Mr Haddock was very rude in saying what he said ,,and calling himself a captain also I find very hard to take in having been in the army myself with no rank after some years, I do not think he has the qualities to be a officer of any rank .

You can join Border Force as an apprentice if you don't have the minimum qualifications but will still need to pass English & Maths GCSE while doing your apprenticeship. Family members will need to pass a security check and the application process can take 6-9 months. You will then need to pass additional training and assessments to progress your apprenticeship. Its not an easy job and requires a high degree of professionalism and there are just as many people from Deal in the service as there are from Dover.

I'm aware of many border force employees with lots of qualifications.

If only previous Governments had had a plan to 'Smash The Gangs' like 'our' Mike has!
So glad that 'MI5' has the spare capacity to devote time and staff to this rather than protecting us from stabby and bomby events within the UK. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_Great_Britain)

So THAT'S what they've done with our Winter Fuel Allowance!
FAILED migrants returning from UK will receive free accommodation, 'cash assistance' and help getting a job under £15m Home Office plan to help them 'reintegrate' back into home countries.

Only England would pay foreign nationals to live in their own country! Ridiculous if true, ridiculous.

Will that apply
every time we repatriate them back to their own countries?
