I note that 89,000 Britons have throw open doors to refugees under Homes for Ukraine scheme (who I am sure are all lovely people in spite of Ukraine being No 122 on the UN corruption index).
Why wait for Ukranians when they could get down to Dover and pick up 'refugees' by the score? (Border Force and RNLI have brought ashore 6 dinghy's worth only this morning)

I do not care where only do it no please apart from where the war is Ukraine which is 1546 miles away from the UK and they are genuine.

It's very difficult to compare against what is happening around the world, Ukrainians are currently at risk of being raped, shot, robbed, mutilated, and their country being wiped from the face of the earth.
Whilst some of the small boat migrants would be under the same risk as Ukrainians, many of them are not, they might be trafficked to the UK by criminal gangs, but the problem is how to differentiate those that simply want a better life due to the financial benefits living in the UK is perceived to give them and those that deserve our protection and are in fear of their life.
It has been so for centuries and those that have not been entitled to stay were / are removed, the problem is that the legal system becomes harder to work through as each year goes by.
