Many thanks Tony, a great book, and I`ve been through it a few times. Jeanette gave me it, but couldn`t remember who brought it in. I thought it was the other Colin, but he said no, so it`s been a mystery since I picked it up. Anyway, thanks mate, and I`ll get it back to you shortly.

You're welcome Colin, I thought you'd like it because of your background and because you like photography.
It was meant for you to keep not return (unless you don't want it).

Really? Be good to see the Dover images. As you can probably guess I never did open it and look through.

..........Returning to the subject of this thread, I see from Tony`s website that it tell`s us the cost of this visit will be an estimated £7 million, and there is a chance to donate towards the cost of the church paying for it all. Lets just hope the pope wasn`t a builder before he became pope as that estimate is sure to be twice that amount.

Ah, I read on the news piece logging on this morning that suddenly, a new law is being created to protect the pope from arrest during his visit in September. Any private prosecution`s in the future will be decided upon by the director of public prosecution`s. So, your common nazi war criminal for example will get prosecuted, whereas your Werner Von Braun with rocket technology won`t, as he`s useful to us. Have I got it right?

Does that protection extend to the right of citizens arrest too? Far better he stays away methinks.

i wonder whether peter tatchell will try to make a citizens arrest on the pontiff, i seem to remember him trying the same on president mugabe of zimbabwe, bob was hardly over the moon about it.
He had a pop at wahtsisname from the BNP (sent home from the Palace Gates) this week as well - didn't try to arrest him, just gave him a little bit of a verbal dressing-down and got pushed around for it. No surprises then.
