Who do we vote for if Brown does call an election, Barry, the not so squeaky clean David Cameronand his bunch of old Etonians, heaven forbid, nobody knows what their policies are.
As for you 'enjoying yourself' that is a very infantile remark and what I would call typically Tory.

Why cant I enjoy seeing this dreadful government that has wreaked so much damage on this country fall apart. Yes I am enjoying it and the sooner we get this over with and elect a new Government the better it will be for the country. I will enjoy life even more then seeing the damage getting repaired.
You do yourself great discredit Dave, with this class war Etonian rubbish, as do all the others who indulge in it. That is what I call infantile.

Bit like a kid watching the school burn down and hoping that they don't build another one.

No - its not joy at seeing the country in a bad state, that is tragic. its joy at seeing those responsible for getting it in such a bad state getting their come uppance, thats the fun.
As you might gather I utterly detest the Labour Party, their attitudes, their incompetence, their whole view of the world. If they never get into power again that will be too soon. Every single Labour Government screws up the economy and ruins the lives of ordinary people.

Barry you are so one sided, almost fanatical in some of the comments you make. Why don't you look at the history of Conservative Governments since World War11, they've been just a little incompotent themselves.

I actually find it hilarious to see Gordon Brown, a man who was so greedy for power and position that he waited patiently for ten years or so until he could slide into Tony's chair, screw up so badly. Only a fool would deny it - he was stupid with desire for "power" that the top job would bring, and even got there without being voted so hey, he is closer to Hitler than just about any other PM in British history
I believe that Brown deserves everything he is getting. I have always said that John Major was the worst leader in (my) living memory, but Gordon Brown makes John Major look like Jesus! Brown is ARROGANT - assuming we wanted him in No 10 so badly that we didn't even want to bother voting; Brown is INCOMPETENT - Barry W has already listed many of his failures and cock-ups; and Brown is the most DELUDED fool living in the worst kind of denial if he thinks for one moment that anybody wants to see him remain in No. 10.
The sooner that moron is out the better. Frankly Brown's leadership is running on empty, his skill is virtually on absolute zero, and I dare say his popularity is on the same baseline as dog turd.
Is it just me or is it getting hot in here?

I have read the history of the Conservative Party Dave. I have a well read copy of Blake right here in my office in fact.
Yes the Conservatives have sometimes got things wrong and made mistakes but never, never, in its 200 years or so history (depending on what version you accept as the origin of the Conservatives) has it been so totally incompetent as this present Government over the last 12 years.
The Conservatives are the oldest organised political party in the world and that is not for nothing. Labour has had its day and I truly hope that they are well on the way to becoming a footnote in British history ranked among such disasters as the Somme.

Why do we continue to hear this dribble, one sided discussion.
be warned, if this govt does lose at the next election, you were warned

It will lose to the great benefit of the country. 'One sided' Keith? I never hear you being supportive of the Conservative Party and in fact I find myself often outnumbered if not out gunned by Labour supporting people on here....

I realise you have convinced yourself only you know best, but your last posting is beyond belief.
Usually most posters go along with, and support your view (which is there right)
you realy have got this one wrong, I have often thought this was another conservative party newsheet
Thats why I have urged PAULB to bring back the politics page, then we can re-engage people on the forum.

I don't dream, I live in the real world, Iv never hidden my support for LABOUR but I do realise that the LIB Dems are never seen anywhere(apart from election time) so unlikely to cause many upsets here in Dover
