23:0311364He tried howard, a very unsavoury thing to do I have to say, but it seems that the Commons is not fooled, the very fact that the serjeant at Arms is still in post is evidence of that.

08:5411369Fascinating accusation by Met.Police's Bob Quick . Apparently the Conservative Party is interfering with his investigation . It makes you wonder how they could that? Could be his excuse for an exit strategy?

16:4115198The police have announced that they will not investigate allegations against peers accused of being willing to change laws in exchange for cash.
It's also reported today that Commons Home Affairs committee of MPs has said it has "deep concerns" about evidence it was given by London mayor Boris Johnson. Its chairman, Labour MP Keith Vaz, has written to the Tory mayor saying the committee was also concerned about the "level of respect and courtesy shown". Mr Vaz accuses Mr Johnson of giving four different accounts of events ahead of Tory MP Damian Green's arrest.
The investigation of Mr Green, the shadow immigration minister, who was arrested as part of an inquiry into leaks from the Home Office is ongoing.

20:1515239i do wish boris had stuck to being an entertainer, i liked him when he was doing that.
i could see him playing him playing a pb type in a sitcom.
picture the scene, a gentleman's club in pall mall, seated in a chesterfield with a tumbler of brandy, then turning to his chum and uttering the words "i seem a bit strapped for cash, came out without my wallet", all this while he is patting his breast pocket.
running london??
not really.
