10:0932881interesting stuff roger, was it only for residents of the folkestone road or all the streets feeding off of it?
the state of the folkestone road affects everyone in the area, as you know.

17:2132903That's why the Folkestone Road was used as a starting point and why the invites were delivered to every house in the Folkestone Road.
There were many people from adjoining roads that came and we didn't want to turn anyone away.
When we have it all organised and sorted, then we can turn our attention to the Clarendons and the side roads etc.
No one will be left out or ignored.

17:5432913wpuld have liked to have been there, especially to speak with the migrant helpline representative, i have often wondered what their function is.
someone told me that it was to advise the incomers of the accepted norms of behaviour here and help them integrate.
either they do not do this or say it too quietly.

18:4732923The Lady told me that is what she does Howard - maybe she says it too quietly.
She is down in the Gateway in Castle Street on a daily basis so I understand, so you could pop in there and talk to her about the problems you and others are having; you could let her know where you live (not necessarily the house number, but the street/area.

18:5832926i think it would be better if she spoke to her clients.
little tips help like
1)do not dump in your back garden in full view of the road.
2)please desist from driving cars when "elephants trunk".
3)do not sit on peoples front walls in the early hours of the morning, whilst talking very loudly whilst consuming alcohol.
4) do not shout and bawl at each other from seperate ends of the street late at night.
that will do for now, will try give out more helpful advice later.

09:0632969All the households along the Folekstone Road were leafleted Keith, not those in Eaves Road - Sheila and Cheryle knew about it.

13:3033156Those who came Howard will be contacted this week hopefully, to give an update on what is happening in the area.
We'll also ask them to come along to the next Priory Forum meeting as we want/need to recruit new members and find out what they feel about the area and if they have any suggestions or wish to become involved.

18:0333258i wish to place on record that in the town centre today, a chap saw the new signs about cycling, promptly alighted and walked the bicycle through the centre.
i failed to get his name, therefore no award can be made.

18:0833263the bloke looked a bit like john goodwin, but had no head protection, so could not have been him.
the gratitude and respect of the public should be enough colin.
not how you see it?
