I like the odd beer, but prefer wine these days. Any wine connoisseur`s on here?

I had a rose moment a while back but now I'm back on the white. Never been into red wine really as one glass = headache, never have that problem with white or rose though!

Good girl good Vodka drunk with ice cold water...nothing fizzy..allows you happy moments of pleasure without the hangover.I drink Bison Vodka,Gold Leaf Vodka and on special occasions Spiritus Refykidus (120%) kept in the freezer and diluted 1/3rd vodka to 2/3rds water.

I like a drop of champers too. It takes me about half a bottle to get into the swing of it, but Lanson Black Label is quite quaffable.
My favourite tipples are:
Red: Chilean Merlot, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Sicilian Red, Hungarian Bulls Blood
White: Frascati, Bordeaux, Monbazillac
Rose: Mateus
Champers: Lanson
Licquer: Green Chartreuse
Beer: Anything hoppy, flat and warm - Essex Border is delicious
Spirits: Highland Park, any Irish whiskey
Tea: Assam or Orange Pekoe
Coffee: Ugandan, Turkish
Pop: Ginger beer

Sid, if we ever meet up, you`ll have to buy you`re own mate as I`ve never heard of some of them. Joking mate.

I like a drop of Algerian. Plenty of body and very cheap. At least it used to be. But agree with Sid, Hungarian Bull's Blood is very full-bodied.

i used to belong to a wine club that specialised in getting the best stuff from small family run vineyards.
great stuff, one i can still remember was an oakey red from north east spain.
i bought a few cases, then found out that the grower kicked the bucket and the family sold the estate off.
never tasted wine like that since.
