If England can't beat Algeria, they don't deserve to win the World Cup - nothing to do with national pride.
Good crowd in the Market Square last night, not sure if they did any damage aftwards though - out of pure frustration.

A totally inept performance all round, and you are right Vic Rooney should have been taken off he was pathetic, don't think I have ever seen such a poor performance from England. Be a miracle if we come back from this shambles and have a good World Cup.

What was Capello thinking of, playing Vic Rooney. He should have picked Wayne Rooney, he's much a beter at football.
Keep the faith, we will qualify!

Sid That is a good one,but I think I could have done better even with my legs, our players are well overpaid and England clubs must stop buying players from overseas because we are not geting our own players coming up and that is why our own England team is not good, need more English players in our top clubs but untill that happens we will always fall down at very big match,s. I should have got that Dover job.

VIC and all
I think I have posted on this before.
The failure here was that bearded bloke ()jimmy hill)
who fought to get a living wage for professional footrballers
it slowly took off from there.
now we have players earning(sorry getting)
more than £90,000 a week
yep not a year a week!!!!!
clubs are run in interest of business rather than fans
football losing it way i think.
England yesterday were poor,
and i do think they will struggle on wednesday unlike big changes happen
I always keep the faith but blimey lads come on, show a bit of passion.

i think that the players seem burdened by the weight of expectation.
they seemed to be putting in the effort, the passing, dribbling, holding on to the ball was worthy of the 2nd division in england. why is it that the likes of lampard, gerrard and rooney pull on an england shirt and they look nothing like the players in the premiership?
if they do squeeze through on wednesday maybe their confidence will be restored for the knock out stage and we go out on a high.

Vic, we do have the good quality younger players (Rooney is no old man for example), but Capello chose to leave them at home. I must confess the squad choice was rather bizarre and consequently, four years on we are stil playing the same way. Makes you wonder why they sacked Sven, only to hire someone who likes to play the same style. I'm obviously ignoring the Wally with the brolly.
I saw highlights of the Ausralia v Ghana game tonight. Comforting t onote that Harry Kewell when fully fit for the first time in nearly a decade, still can't last a whole match.

Rooney is just one and at this time he is not playing well and should not be playing again it is the old school tie job he must not start out on Wedsday. bring Peter out for the full 90mins and he will get the goals.

Milner and Hart are others and there are more Vic; I just didn't bother to name them all.

Put Rooney on the bench for the first half, bring him on at the start of the second half and he would get a hatrick, and put Joe Cole in the team,if the latest Dover Manager leaves I will be available next May after the election.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

I even managed the Rep team winning 7-0 against Thanet and losing 1-2 against Deal just before Deal won the FA Vase then in Holland we won the Senior Tournament 2 years on the trot without conceeding a goal.....do you want me to continue....If I get the job you could be the Tea boy or the Kit man.

Yes you are right, but also I did managed two local teams,+I run the Dover Boxing club for some years and Deal boxing club aswell for two years.you do not have to play the sport to make a good manger.
