Regarding religious grounds that is their choice much the same as not receiving blood products. They do not have a right to go around possibly infecting others, for their safety as well as mine they should stay at home unless there is absolutely no alternative.
I have yet to have my booster simply because I have not been feeling my best since receiving my letter so have stayed at home for the last couple of weeks.

How do you feel about those refusing the vaccine on religious grounds?
I'm not sure that any religious grounds, however strongly they may be held, would justify endangering the lives of others, Reggie.

It is no good phoning Dover Health Centre which is how I booked my 2nd jab to book the booster, unlike before you have to phone 119.

Karlos,
Good point. Obviously this forum is solely for matters pertaining to Dover Town rather than Dover District......?

Interesting? :-
Last Sunday I had lunch with my partner, our four children with their partners and my four grandchildren to celebrate my 70th birthday.
Since then my partner and all our four children who share her DNA have gone down with Covid.
However myself and my childrens' partners, who do not share my partner's DNA, are all testing negative.
Are some people more genetically predisposed to catch this Chinese Flu?

Let’s hope this ratio holds in two weeks time or so when the figures start coming in.

Given what we know about the state of the NHS and the staff who work so selflessly in it, I do wonder if merely 'hoping' is the best course of action.

I am totally fed up with the way the figures give a false impression of trouble at the moment, also the media's obsession with the negative side of those figures.
Yes the infection figures are high but many of those infected are not seriously ill and according to the tv doctor this morning some have no symptoms but test because of their job. The only relevant figures are those in hospital and whether they have been vaccinated or not.
