Sorry Button I will continue as before as I simply can not keep track of some of the words that now seem to cause offence, but I will be offended (not) if anyone calls me 'a disabled obese old woman' as that is all true.

The thing I can not understand is the way a person's colour is now such an issue. It is raised all the time while the rest of us are supposed not to mention or even notice their colour, just look at the way the army woman has been portrayed for her amazing lone trek across the ice.... 'A woman of colour' whenever she is mentioned.

Personally, I will never use gender neutral words, our modern society was built by men, based on patriarchal families. Therefore, I will maintain a conservative tone in the conversation.

KS, I know you like a nice photo. This should tell you much about 'these type of things'.

One day we will look back with shame on the 'treatment' we are doling out to supposedly trans-gender children, just as we look back on the post-war fashion for lobotomy to 'cure' mental illness.
