Yet another example of your side-splittingly hilarious shining wit. It just adds so much to the debate.

Labour finally appears to be allowing itself to use the B Word. This is entirely legitimate as public opinion shows that only 18% feel that it is going well. It's really simple - you attack the government for failing to make Brexit work, rather than Brexit itself.

Another outstanding contribution to the debate, Weird Grandad. Best I can do is to quote from our agricultural sector.

Good, that's a start - we have left after all. Now to show how the current administration can be bettered, since "I told you so", valid though it might be, seems to me unlikely to be popular with the voters that Labour needs to attract.

Never look to the American media for the low-down on your own country.

OK Weird Grandpa. If you're not too keen on the facts from a American, here's some very recent ones from our own sceptred shores. It's worth looking at the uneasy expression on the Brexit sycophant's face as the facts mount up.
Feel free to push back with some counter arguments. Contrary to the opinions of those devoid of facts on here, I'm happy to debate the respective contents.

We are now clearly at the point where policy is being made up on the hoof to retrospectively fit the current immediate crisis. So it's all very good saying that the shortages of goods, fuel and workers is all a deliberate act to push up wages - but the flip side is that it will also be the policy that caused rampant inflation and interest rate rises.....which will mean people can't pay their mortgages this time next year (not to mention the actual shortage of goods, fuel and workers!) It can't go on like this.

#5482: "[Haulage companies cannot issue visas themselves] any more than exporters can cut through the bureaucracy Johnson tangled them in when he forced through a hard Brexit"; this does not bode well for being a global trading nation (though I thought we already were) if we cannot compete with Tom Dick and Harry in exporting to the EU.
I'm assuming here that the bureaucracy mentioned is that of the EU and which we ourselves enforced on non-EU imports for quite a few years.

The speed with which the Government has gone from saying that labour shortages were not caused by Brexit to saying they were the 'whole point' of Brexit is breathtakingly audacious even by Laughing Boy's standards.

Whilst posting I had Laughing Boy's speech in low volume on radio 5. I'm sure I heard him say that the European Super League was only defeated because of Brexit? This would be despite the fact that obviously the ESL was nothing to do with the EU - and the fact that the proposal came after we'd already left. And the idiots in the hall lapped it up.
Same lesson as ever - listen to the facts rather than the perpetual BS.

Don't you just love how politicians can find images or comments to try and prove their point.
What amazes me is how Spain seem to manage to keep stocking our shelves with their tasteless fresh fruit and veg even when the Yorkshire Sparkling Water space is completely empty yet again.

What I find awful is the fact pigs are slaughtered and pig farmers going out of business because they cannot get the work force also fruit and veg no one wants to harvest the crops .Still we need food banks etc ...?Why don’t some of these unemployed get back work. Why should we continue to support those who will not look for a job. They say there is a shortage of bus drivers.where has the sense of pride gone .
