Elite Greedy Pigs exist in all walks of life.Lance Armstrong as a cheat, liar and bully earned £ 125
million.
He won the Tour de France seven times and became an Icon..untouchable....not to be challenged ??
Similar to Jimmy Saville ?....for fear of being bullied, ridiculed, intimidated ?
The Sunday Times some time ago took up the challenge and was taken to court for their trouble
and the vail of silence from people in the ``know`` of Armstrongs wrong doings cost the Sunday
Times over £ One million in legal costs for their trouble in the effort to obtain justice.
Add the many `clean` sportsman whose lives have been ruined in trying to compete with cheats liars
and bullies.
Elite Greedy Pigs need to be exposed........

Yes although banned for life,
he should have all his yellow jerseys returned
and not be allowed back
he has seriously damaged cycling and sport in general

He has been stripped of his titles Keith. I'm sure part of that involved wrapping up his jerseys and sending them back to France registered post

Never mind the yellow jerseys being returned he should be made to return all the money he obtained through his fraudulent ways.
I hope the Times can recover their costs plus whatever else can be added on top although I bet the vast majority of his personal finances have now been transferred to his family members so he can plead poverty.

imagine how his closest rivals must feel, coming second to him over the years then finding out they should have been champion.

Lets be honest here, cycling has been plagued by drugs for decades, Armstrong isn't the first and he won't be the last

David
ou need to iron out a fair system, not one that private patients are able to be treated just because they have the dosh to do so.
On the question of labour, I have been clear i won't be voting labour at the next election if the present system remains
and like other posters im critical of labour, tory, lib dem or any politician.
I may have at time socialist outlook(you could be expelled in labour party for mentioning that word lol_)
but on some issues iv also shown i can sound like a tory(but im taking the tablets lol)

Keith, ironing out a fair system means nothing, its just dogma. At present its unfair, people paying private are paying twice.
And btw you know fine well you'll vote labour, you are one of the 90% of the population thats a triballist.

I don't know what you mean by the right Keith, I didn't vote conservative at the last election, if that helps.
btw = by the way.
I loathe political parties and 99% of politicians, if their brains were as big as their egos the country wouldn't be in as much debt and trouble. Divide that by 100 and the same problems occur at local level, politicians and councillors vote along party lines not their own judgement, its pathetic and to the detriment of democracy.
I could name a few local councillors that I have a lot of time for, in both parties, the majority I've met are utterly pointless. I'm sure the same applies at every level up to parliament, Clegg is deputy PM, Prescott was before him, I despair.

David;
Hopefully this may be of help(probably not)
I share your view(maybe for differing reasons)
Govts(of all parties) have a few good MP's and i wonder if the lot were sacked we would notice any difference?
Down to the local area, like you(and iv said so before on other threads) we have to ,many cllrs,
only a handful work hard(from the 2 parties)

We have 650 odd MPS, far too many. We have county, district, town and parish councillors, what on earth do all these people actually do?
Sack 90% of them and give the money to OAPs and the disabled I say, the world will be a better place.
I have to be careful Keith, I got banned for supposedly abusing councillors, all tories incidentally, if you think I lean to the right.

As we have exactly 650 MPs, I must agree with you assessment of them David.
Abolish the HoLs, give England some regional autonomy...plenty of work there for the 650.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.
