Heseltine. Major. Adonis... These establishment cry-babies' public tantrums simply remind the adults why they turned to British beer.
It's almost as if Johnson had begged them to come out against him.

I'm sure they would all speak highly of a man of your wisdom, given the chance. After all, what have they achieved that you couldn't seek to emulate?
In the meantime, maybe peruse this and perhaps try some factual arguments?

Two errors/misunderstandings of the subject matter that I can see:
"Whitehall also refuses to curb imports of European pork" - obviously, since we have a free trade agreement with the EU. It is in fact no change from when we were an EU Member State.
"Rees-Mogg is now advocating an Institute of Economic Affairs suggestion to boost trade with other countries by abolishing non-tariff barriers and “recognising [their] regulations, without requiring reciprocity, starting with the EU”." Good. 'Taking Back Control' is not synonymous with having controls, despite the previous paragraph (and taking the two together, the writer attempts to have it both ways).
Not the best article I've read, more like a stocking filler it seems to me.

Well, Major does have better underpants, I'll admit; and Heseltine's rodomontade jam is top class.
Adonis's hair, though, is a shocking injustice to his name; we should reverse the referendum result so he can import a blond wig at old rates.

I somehow doubt that it will ever really permeate this forum but evidence continues to mount that the penny is dropping. Puerile humour is great but it doesn't remove reality.

Bizarre question IMO. You might even say 'puerile'. As we already left, 'Remain' would mean 'stay out'.
Lordy, I don't know who's worse, the teenagers in charge of social media operations or the adults who get taken in by them.
Anyway, as Brits never understand what we're voting for, any poll result is worthless until the quizmaster general at the EU confirms it's the right answer.

Personally I prefer "Puerile humour" to the continual comments that only support their chosen political party or equally blinkered views.
Maybe the above is why so few members actually feel it is really worth making a comment, I only continue because at times I have nothing of real interest to occupy me when having a coffee.

As I said, I doubt that reality about Brexit will ever permeate this forum. But forum it is - and as I've also said many times before, a public one too -where anyone is entitled to make their point. And by the same token, you're free to comment.
Personally, I think there are vey few comments because folk are seldom willing to admit when they have been conned. But I note that you're always willing to jibe back, rolling your eyes no doubt. Maybe even flouncing out again when the mood takes?
As usual, factual responses are few and far between.

I think that reply just proves my point, I do not jibe but might mock occasionally, sadly am I far to old to flounce anywhere but I do like to smile, wink, grin at some of the comments.
