I've just noticed that we don't have a topic dedicated to our new MP, which seems a little unwelcoming to a stranger to the constituency given that our previous Conservative and Labour ones were so welcomed. So here's one now.
During his tenure, and thanks to the Dover Harbour (Constitution) Revision Order 2016, he'll be called upon to advise the Board on Community Directors to be appointed for their local knowledge and "finger on the pulse". Good luck with that then. (For the avoidance of doubt, Dover Harbour is, well, a harbour in Dover.)

Banned from following him on Facebook and Twitter (and Wetherspoons Deal!)
Sent him serious query about Labour party policy on Israel a fortnight ago.
No reply.,

The entire front bench are barely suitable for a manager's position at Toys 'R Us, and now running the country.
As for the intern at the Bank of England!

I think he will be an excellent MP.He is gathering information not on jollies. He will keep Dover at the fore front. We have 18 Town councillors ,several District Councillors and KCC councillors .They should be available to,deal with current issues.DDC and KC C councillors are paid.I see the Labour Leader was out and about in the terrible weather.yesterday.TheLeader Is a very knowledgeable person. You cannot expect a private audience withthe MP everyminute of the day.He keeps us informed.

Sadly Sue our two councillors that represent Aycliffe do not seen to anything… waste of time
For instant litter being left on the estate after refuse collection.. told me to contact Viola. I pointed out it is the DDC responsibility to ensure the contract is carried out
Asked about how our councillors can assist in replacing the temporary signs to stop Lorrie’s coming on the estate. They said contact Kent Highways… I e-mailed both a copy of an e-mail of my reply from Kent highways. Nothing heard back
They are very good at passing buck…

What kind of 'information' do you think he would have been 'gathering' from the DNC in Chicago?
How windy it is in windy city?
Or, how to park an abortion truck at a party conference?

Looks like Me Tapp is to be a reliable easy vote for the PM.
Wonder how he will defend the winter fuel allowance to pensioners in his travels ,
The present line of its all the Tories fault won't wash .
Neil what's going on geezer this is a real vote loser
Can't find many that support it, not even his closest allies (who struggle to push out the party line)
