That is the next problem, a big money spinner for Munich providing visitors have somewhere to stay. Last week a Mayor in a small town emptied his local Ikea and two branches in neighbouring towns of their beds.

After Mrs Merkel went back on her word we now have Austria deploying troops on their borders, even France is now talking about more controls.

Very much doubt that Keith, the vast majority of refugees are not interested in claiming asylum in France. The problems in Calais are of little interest to the French public as they consider corner of the country to be British/English.

A Serbian Government Minister is up in arms over the refusal of Hungary to let in more refugees, saying it turned his country into a concentration camp.

The story now is that only about a third of the arrivals in Germany are from Syria. Syrians are saying that along the journey many from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Bangla Desh, Lebanon and other places infiltrated their ranks.

Serbia have fairly recent experience of doing ethnic cleansing so running concentration camps should be right up their street.

The situation gets ever more ludicrous with 14,000 entering Croatia over the past two days and they are being ushered to the border with Hungary. We all know that they are unlikely to get any further so it is really stalemate. The Hungarian police came in for criticism for using tear gas but this was only after 24 of the officers were injured by stone and missile throwing mobs.

All the top brass meeting with the favourite being that the EU will try to instruct nations how many they will take, I don't see that working, Hungary for example have issued rubber bullets to their border forces.
