Peter
yes we all know that for now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Keith B,,,,,,, I have made no secret that Labour(like the cobbled together lot) have lost there way.
But UKIP making a difference? I don't think so, slowly Mr Farrage is being found out as being no different to the rest.
I will admit people for some time have been switching off of politicians, and politics in general.
Alexander,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,As I'v said before you couldn't even be bothered to vote for the party one day you support, the next you have no time for, so enough said on that.
There are some positives in all of this;
So maybe the major political parties may continue to bury here heads in the sand, but in my short 25 years in local govt I visited on a regular basis all the Dover Schools and if you engage with schoolchildren, they are interested, and know a lot to, They are also our future.

Keith s
Local ukip membership is growing, unlike the other party's,
The labour party would be empty if not for union labour party mandatory enrolment '
If forum members whish to join ukip Dover district, go to the ukip link
http://www.ukip.org/
Ukip will be standing candidates in the District, trying to give voter an alternative to the, 3 old failure party's that got us into this mess .
If ukip comes over as a bit shoe string in canvassing you need to remember we do not get money from the rich Elite , or the rich unions
If you won't your country and democracy back vote ukip

Theirs no confusion from ukip Howard, Vick did get the pump,
Hopefully he will still support what the party is trying to achieve, and vote for the ukip candidate next time round.
The new chairman peter Ripley has stepped in to the job very well; he's got lots of life experience and is not interested in personal fame , just wants to push the party on to change and give the electorate an alternative

Alcibiades, who had been given the Athenian strategy and placed at the head of 30,000 soldiers and sailors, defected to Sparta with the intention of making the Athenian army and navy fail, along with all their allies: the very forces he had been given command over.
He succeeded, almost the entire Athenian expedition to Syracuse was wiped out, including the reinforcements that had later been sent there. In all, well over 40,000 men.
Athens fell into turmoil.
Then Alcibiades negotiated his return to Athens as the only person who could save the city.
His terms: "I am the sole leader and there can be no more Democracy".
And: "If you do not do as I want or if you question me, I will make you fail".
Now translate this to modern day UKIP in Dover and Deal:
Vic...was given the strategy....and then.....

Its true at this very time UKIP and myself do not see eye to eye,does not mean that I do not support them.If a Gen/Election was called now I would be standing again if not for UKIP then on my own so I would not vote for them but if the case came up that that I could not stand then yes I would still vote for them.

Howard;
some interesting comments,
the chair of UKIP now appears to be aying he was asked to leave as a member, rather than he left over difference.
And he would still support them? confusing or what?
Its always good to have lots of candidates to choose from

Thank you,Keith for your input...Mr Matcham is, in denial again...I suggest any conflicts between Ex UKIP members and existing members should be held behind closed doors.Not for the pleasure of any Tories or Labour people reading these posts.
