You’ve still got nimble fingers Sue, I started typing my comments before you posted but got distracted by this old news clip after Brian’s comments.

Stagecoach promised that the new timetables would be on the website last Monday. Clearly someone has messed up big time. I'm very tempted to contact their head office. It's not as if they didn't have ample time to get them ready!

After writing that, I had another look at Stagecoach's website. It would seem the production of timetables and maps is down to a contractor (Tiscon?) who seem to be well behind. Most of the new Ashford timetables are done, some of the Folkestone ones and none for Dover other than the 102. Has anyone seen a printed one yet?

When I enquired re bus time tables. I was advised by a senior manager Ashford had theirs first then Folkestone as there had been more changes to their routes.I commented at the time Dover is always last in the queue. We also always get the old buses.
Our Councillors should fight for us more.More action and less talking .

Sue why bother with the buses. Use your bus pass to get a chauffeured limo to the nearest helipad and go shopping in style!

I was hoping you could use your royal connections to get a trip on the backs of the taxpayer but it looks like a piggy back might be a more realistic option.
Who did you con into believing that you are almost 80 just to get 25p extra on your pension?
After the 20% tax you will net 20p and if you are paying 40% tax you will receive 15p........don’t fritter it away on a goose feather for one of your hats!
Save it for 52 weeks and you could buy 5 lottery tickets or 5 ice creams.
Austerity? Obviously not for some.

For Jan. It's only minor exaggeration to say that one can't give these away on-line - I don't know what the moral of that is!

I know I am easily confused, but why does that apply to me?

Stagecoach may have to consider putting a longer bus on the 92 route, not for the first time this morning a town bound one on Maison Dieu Road had a few people standing.

They have finally sorted the bus stop in Market Square with timetables for both services that stop there, hopefully Folkestone Road will be next.

Stagecoach have finally put a timetable up at my usual stop, the problem is it only shows the 102 and 68 on the Monday/Friday list and misses off the 63 which runs every 20 minutes for most of the day. The Saturday and Sunday ones look ok.

It seems that the sheer volume of changes has overwhelmed their contractors. E-mail Stagecoach about the errors and they'll no doubt try to get it fixed.

lew, the question is when and how would they do that, if they are inclined to change it.

They would get on to the contractors and ask them to deal with it. But given how long we've been waiting for proper timetables, I wouldn't hold your breath! All that was available last Friday at Canterbury were some (but not all) of the new Ashford leaflets and Thanet ones from April.

Slow progress. A 'proper' timetable for 91 is now on the website but even the Folkestone town services haven't been done yet, so heaven knows when Dover's will be!
