Got chatting to a film buff the other day who was ecstatic about the deal he has with Cineworld, 17 quid a month and he watches an average of 10. Free parking in the evening even when charging comes in - sounds good to me.

I would struggle to find 10 movies a month I would want to watch so I still use VUE which is £4.99, free parking anytime and much larger screens.

I just go on Tuesday or Wednesday and use merkat movies. £8.20 for 2 tickets so cheaper than vue and a 5 min drive instead of 35 min if the traffic is OK to Westwood. Cheaper less fuel less time. No brainer

You can use your Meerkat Movies at VUE. So on Tuesday or Wednesday, 2 tickets are £4.99

Leaving aside the inconvenience of driving there and back is there any actual financial benefit after fuel costs are deducted?

5 an hour during the day from Market Square to the town centre with nothing in the evenings/Sunday/Bank holiday Brian.
The old "Internacionale" shop in town has a guide price of £190-200,000 at auction.

I often wonder why there are less buses at these times, more likely to be used then

As a former Dovorian now living in exile I use this board frequently to keep abreast of the changes in my former hometown. I have been regularly logging onto the St James website to see if any more units have been taken and check on site progress for quite some time but it now appears to be no more...Any ideas if this is temporary or if the site has now closed due to the projects "completion"?

The St James website has changed slightly.
Here is the current store map:

Structural deficiency in the building, not maintenance.

I read it is to do with the floor or flooring, whatever the cause it must be frustrating for customers and the company.

Oh dear, I hope that's the only one to suffer, the last thing we need is to close some of the shops again!
