You should speak to some of the current residents, about the quality of the developer! Noise, dirt, failure to carry out repairs, fire exits that don't openly safely, not to mention the drug dealing, noise and rubbish dumping from the socially incompetent in conqueror house.
Another ten years of living on a building site anybody?

Maybe I should not comment as I still have not been to St James, not one retailer is important enough to entice me to go that far, I can get all I want nearer to home or online.
I would have preferred the original idea of housing mixed with small interesting shops, it was called the lanes or something like that.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Yes Jan I’m was hoping for that .Some where along the line that idea got lost .Reginald I cannot comment on your post I know they were lovely to begin with.Housing association.I think the letting of the flats maybe to undesirable tenants?I gather that as the same in lots of areas of Dover .It needs the public to get police involved. You read and see on TV where the Police have forced entry into properties. If these problems are not reported. Such as building defects it will not be resolved.

Not sure what Keith means? It looks like a great addition to me. The terrace with its castle views will be lovely on a summer evening.

As long as Rico Sabor is a small chain which maintains its food quality and has not become an accountant-led mass producer of substandard cooked-off-site food like Nando’s it will be a welcome addition and good competition for Aspendos, Dino’s and Il Rustico.
