Vic ,as Barry has stated we Conservatives will be out and about .,all day .My day will start before 9.00am and probably go on until 9.00pm .You cannot treat people to food it will be looked on as a bribe
I shall be in Alkham first thing . .
I am quite open to being bribed by good food, good wine and good whisky. I am just saying..........

The rules are very clear Vic and if you post on an open forum about treating people to breakfast ??I dont make things up .I would have thought you would have been telling .
Election day can be the make or break .Every vote counts .

Enjoy your breakfast Vic and enjoy the day, by the tone of some of your opposition on here they may not be a lot to enjoy after tomorrow.

Sue is correct Vic - what you are saying is a breach of electoral law and you could get your collar felt.

I don't think they will win Sue and certainly do not and would not vote for them. You seem obsessed by them and Vic in particular it smacks of bullying and is not pleasant.

Its not bullying MRP and Barry has now supported me in my statement .I think we are trying to give him friendly advice .
MRP i live opposiite ViC .I recall the last time he stood for election and very disappointed he was too .I tried to tell him on Election Day you have to work .Im not always right but Barruy and I go back a long way and Barry certainly knows the rules .I also Am very hot on protocol .

Its not protocol, it is the law and a serious matter as well. I am trying to give Vic some sound advice and if he ignores it then he may well have to face legal consequences.

Sue
What do you call giving lifts to people down to the polling station. That smacks of bullying and bribery. I don't know the rules but buying a cuppa or even a brekkie for 'helpers' appears to me to be an act of generousity more than anything else.
Mind you the Tories are squeaky clean they don't muck around with free cuppa's they play big time and accept millions from Lord Ashcroft a non UK tax paying Belize resident exile.Using a mans money who lives abroad to try and change the political landscape of this country.
It must be nice to stand on such high moral ground. The view must be excellent from up high looking down on us poor plebs!
Marek
I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)

Marek, get a few things straight.
We are talking about electoral law here and trying to be helpful in fact. Amateur campaigns often fall foul of complex rules. This is nothing to do with any kind of moral high ground.
If you want I will instead report Vic and UKIP to the returning officer/police via a formal complaint. Would you prefer that? I personally prefer not to.
You really do go off on a tangent. Ashcroft has not broken any law and all donations have been fully within the rules laid down by the electoral commission. We have seen so much hypocracy from Labour over this who themselves have their non-dom donors.
